Opened in 2017, Mater Private Hospital - Townsville represents PEHA’s first and longest-standing partnership. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of specialist services, including Cardiac, Paediatric, and Orthopaedic care.

The Mater Private Hospital Mackay partnered with PEHA in 2019. The hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring six operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.

The Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton began their partnership with PEHA in 2023. The Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is a 136-bed facility that features five operating theatres and a wide range of specialised clinical services.

PEHA partnered with the Friendly Society Private Hospital in 2018. The Friendlies is a well-established 142-bed surgical and medical facility that has been serving the Bundaberg community for over 100 years. The hospital offers cardiology, oncology, day surgery, general surgery and orthopaedics services.

The Mater Private Hospital Brisbane marks PEHA’s fourth and most recent partnership with the Mater Group. PEHA was pleased to expand its collaboration with the Mater Group by launching operations at the Brisbane Mater ED in March 2025. The hospital itself is a 323-bed facility featuring 10 operating theatres and over 35 specialised clinical services.

PEHA began partnering with the Hobart Private Hospital in 2021. Hobart Private Hospital is a leading local facility that provides a range of clinical services, including general and specialty medical and surgical, obstetrics, cardiology and angiography.

PEHA’s partnership with Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) and the West Australian Country Health Service (WACHS) to provide medical services to the remote Pilbara towns of Tom Price and Paraburdoo.
