About PEHA

The notion of Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA) came about from two long term friends realising that by combining skill sets and working together they could provide an emergency care solution that was superior for patients, the associated hospitals and its doctors. A solution that would also reduce some of the strain on the public health system and ultimately benefit the wider community.

PEHA is a health care provider offering specialist emergency care within the private and public sector. Focused on delivering high quality care and patient service, PEHA provides a holistic and superior offering, drawing on expertise and skills across both emergency care and innovative management.

Using our proven methodology, we operate emergency departments on behalf of our hospital partners, removing the day to day management and providing a superior level of emergency care to patients. We pride ourselves on short wait times, expert care, personalised service and follow up.

Our Vision

To revolutionise the emergency care experience.

Our Mission

To provide a holistic and superior emergency care solution for our hospital partners through both clinical and commercial expertise and a focus on high quality patient care and service.

Holistic & Superior Emergency Care Solution

As a specialist emergency care provider, PEHA has extensive experience in the set up and operation of emergency departments. We provide a complete solution to our clients. Our solution has been tried, tested and proven successful for all involved – our hospital partners, patients, doctors, stakeholders and the wider community.

High Quality Patient Care & Service

At the heart of PEHA’s offering is a commitment to high quality patient care and service. To support this, our doctors are emergency trained specialists aligned to these values; wait times are kept to an absolute minimum through our strong doctor network, ongoing roster review and procedures; and a personalised service and follow up is provided to each and every single patient that walks through our doors.

Clinical and Commercial Overlay

A common downfall in specialist offerings, particularly in the medical field, is a lack of attention to the commercial aspects of service delivery, which can impact significantly on the hospital and the patient experience. Core to PEHA’s methodology, is the appreciation and integration of commercial expertise, resulting in a more robust emergency care solution that also creates a stronger working relationship with our hospital partners.
