PEHA first partnered with Mater Health in 2017 to open the Mater Townsville Emergency Department. This successful venture was soon followed by partnerships at Mater Mackay & Mater Rockhampton.

We’re thrilled to announce that Mater Health and PEHA will once again join forces! From mid-March (yes, that’s less than a month away!), PEHA will take over the operations of Mater Private ED in South Brisbane.

In other Mater Health news, we are edging closer to finalising ED extension plans for Mater Townsville. We expect building works to start in the coming months. This extension will offer an additional 4 treatment bays and provide our Townsville staff with a much-needed tearoom!
