PEHA was proud to support this year’s Central Queensland GP Conference in Rockhampton, presented by Hillcrest Private Hospital, Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, Mater, and Country to Coast QLD.
PEHA’s Project Manager, James, and Marketing Coordinator, Alys, were thrilled to attend the event alongside members of PEHA’s Rockhampton management team, including Dr Muhammad Ihsan, Site Director, and Krystal Carpenter, Practice Manager.
This conference was a fantastic opportunity for PEHA to demonstrate our commitment to collaboration and innovation in healthcare. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Trudy, Fiona, Tina, and Taren from Mater and Ramsay, as well as the wider teams involved, for their dedication in delivering such a valuable event for the GP community in Central Queensland.
A special highlight of the event, was Dr Ihsan’s presentation during the nursing component, where he shared expert insights on red flags and triaging—drawing on his extensive emergency department experience. Thank you, Dr Ihsan, for representing PEHA so expertly.

In early June, the University of Queensland Business School hosted an information breakfast featuring guest speakers Professor Rita Agarwal and Professor Xitong Guo. Andrea Cracknell, PEHA's General Manager, attended the event alongside other industry professionals to discuss artificial intelligence and its role in the future of healthcare.
